The 2012 Rivers of Chocolate Festival is shaping up to be an incredible day!

In fifteen years, the Rivers of Chocolate festival has established itself as the premier wine, chocolate and savory tasting event in Northern California. Tickets are $125.00 each.

The revenue from this event benefits the programs of EHC LifeBuilders – the leading provider of shelter and services for homeless adults, families, and children in Santa Clara County.

Below are some facts about this year’s  Rivers of Chocolate Festival to help explain the benefits of supporting such a worthwhile cause.

Your 2012 Rivers of Chocolate festival ticket will include: 

  • All food and beverages. The  Rivers of Chocolate Festival showcases a large selection of the Bay Area’s best wineries, chocolatiers, and restaurants. Come hungry! Pick and choose among 70 chocolatiers, restaurateurs, confectioners, vintners, spirit makers, and other vendors.  As you walk around the beautiful Mountain Winery, you will enjoy tastings and samplings from 27 wineries; 16 dessert makers & chocolatiers, 15 savory/hors d’oeuvres chefs, and other vendors.   • Parking at the Mountain Winery
  • A Rivers of Chocolate Festival wine glass
  • A full day (1:00-5:00pm) at the historic and magical Mountain Winery. This is one of the Bay Area’s most picturesque venues. Enjoy the fresh mountain air,  lovely vistas and decks, landscaped gardens, redwood groves,  incredible views of the valley below, and the historic stone-masonry buildings.
 In addition to a fantasy for your palate, the fundraiser will feature: 
  •  A live auction by Gary Scott Thomas of KRTY radio
  • A silent auction
  • Raffle drawing
  • Live music from Pearl Alley, The Garage Band, OMG!, and The Peninsula Symphony
Other facts about Rivers of Chocolate:
  • 125 volunteers from local companies will be giving their time and expertise
  • 800 guests from all over the Bay Area will attend
The ticket will not include:
  • A Rivers of Chocolate commemorative plate. These will be available at the fundraiser for $5.00.

                                                         

Proceeds from the Rivers of Chocolate Festival support the programs of  EHC LifeBuilders. EHC LifeBuilders confronts homelessness by cultivating people’s potential to get housed and stay housed.

The Rivers of Chocolate Festival is the agency´s premier fund-raising activity. Thank you for making this year´s event the most successful yet.
